Train service in the UK is well organized and mostly run in and out from main airports. Train tickets approximately cost £52 per one person to get to the Heathrow airport terminal from Cambridge. This sound is good if you are  traveling solo and with one or two hand luggage. But there are other issues too. Traveling by coach is the cheapest option but is the longest ride. From Cambridge to Heathrow travel by a fast coach can take up to 2 hours and 15 minute. Price is around £25 per passenger and then again you have to add the cost that you have to spend for your bus or taxi from or to your accommodation.

Airport taxis are quite an expensive option that can cost you various, that can cost at least £150 or more.

App based transport services like Uber cost around £130 to £150 or more to get to Cambridge city.
